What is the minimum order?
Our minimum order is just 12 pieces — one realtor’s season of closings or one small retail run is a normal order — with volume tiers for restaurant groups, brands and corporate programmes.
How fast will my oven mitts arrive?
Your free mockup lands within 24 hours and finished mitts ship in about 2 weeks, with express turnaround available when a launch or holiday date is fixed.
Why do you keep talking about water?
Because every heat rating on every mitt assumes dry padding. Quilted insulation works by trapping air; a damp mitt has traded that air for water, which conducts — and on a hot handle it turns to steam against the skin faster than anyone can let go. Most real kitchen mitt burns start with “it was a bit damp”. Keep cotton dry, and for wet work buy the silicone shell whose rating water cannot void.
What does your seconds rating mean?
How long the mitt holds a tray at oven temperature, measured dry, before heat reaches the hand uncomfortably. It is the one number that lets two mitts be compared honestly — which is why most listings print “heat resistant” instead. Every product we quote carries its number.
How long should the cuff be?
Long enough that reaching into your deepest oven never puts bare forearm above a rack edge — the classic oven burn is exactly that neat line on the wrist. We state cuff length in inches on the quote and recommend from how your ovens actually sit; deck ovens and low wall ovens earn the long-cuff mitt.
How does branding work on a mitt?
Embroidery on the flat back panel — the side that faces the room while the mitt hangs on its hook, which is most of its life. Screen print runs edge to edge on cotton shells and pot holders. Silicone shells take a moulded-in pattern or a printed cuff band; we will not pierce a waterproof shell with stitching. The method is named on every quote.
Can you match a set we already sell or gave last year?
Usually. Send physical pieces rather than photographs — shell colours and quilting patterns need matching in hand — and we will tell you plainly how close we can get before production. Designs, colours and set contents are held on file, so a repeat season matches the last one.
Do you make aprons, tea towels, cutting boards or chef coats?
No. Each is its own product with its own specialist supplier — there is a whole site for aprons alone — and we will point you to one rather than sell you the wrong thing. Everything we make protects a hand or a surface from something hot.
